Finished WOM Wall for International Women's Day

I first came to london as an Artist, over 20yrs ago now. It would be a few years before jewellery found me. Initially I worked shifts in bars, working doubles to squeeze my hours into 3 or 4 days; giving me time to work as an Artist whenever commissions came along.
Nowadays, making jewellery takes most of my time. I do however still make time to paint.
It is a passion of mine, and recently have been painting like mad again.
Tesseract Sequence Paintings
Recently I've been obsessing over the tesseract. Painting it over and over. I couldn't capture movement until I painted this sequence of 4. My aim was to turn squares into circles and back again. They are describe the undulation of Reality. I've had a great time experimenting with this. I've decided just to have fun and paint whatever I feel the need to lately; work a bit on the why, without the pressure of fulfilling a brief. In short, let it be a pastime I can fully enjoy.
Tesseract Switch Blade WOM Wall
Above is an edit of the day I painted with the Graffiti crew WOM.
Celebrating international Women's day, I wanted to paint the tesseract together with a character I drew over 10yr years ago now. One of my girls from the Blade series. Together I hoped to describe the reality of being female. To be feminine is to be vunerable. From wearing heels & carrying handbags, to having long hair or nails. The blade series girls have a built in weapon, matching strength with beauty. I like this reality.
And I love a day painting alongside the Women of WOM. What a fun day, blessed with plenty of early year sunshine. I painted next to Matilda, a friend for many years now. I am so grateful to have these like minded people to spend the day with and paint together.

I will continue to paint and improve and share it with you.
As always, thank you for looking!
