CREATING THE ROPE BANGLE
Carving The Rope Bangle took a couple of goes
First time round,
I misjudged the diameter and it came up short.
The second time, I made sure it was big enough.
It flowed better.
I carved the first so thick I could barely shape it in silver.
I amended this as well.
The Rope Bangle launched in 2019
It's one of my favourite pieces;
For its style, weight and wearability.
Available in sizes S>XXL
There are simpler ways to create rope designs
They are more commonly made by twisting metal together.
I wanted to carve them. Drop into peaceful meditation.
I love carving twisting patterns.
I love carving in general.
By 2021, I added two rings to the Collection
And most recently, in 2022, a paired down bangle.
