I am unsure how much to talk about this painting

On social media I mentioned it being about contrasting light sources, space and character development.

That being true, it was not the main thought behind the image created.

To dive right in, it's about the eternal energy source (the soul?) and the choices we make. Suspended options are neither this or that (shrodinger's cat), until our decision is made.

Like an adventure book. Turn to p52 to visit the swamp!

An obsessive thought or rather coping mechanism I go to; is that the opposite is always true. Like the sky is blue, except, somewhere the sun is setting AND rising, and it's orange.

When struggling socially, I try to remember this. I may think I said something stupid and then chose a kinder version and say, it's ok, it's smart to ask.

It's a big weird subject to discuss, but I'll try

To the left and right of the Soul character, are two influences, like the old school devil and angel on your shoulders. However, like in quantum mechanics, it entirely depends on view point how something is perceived. Something 'bad' might be considered good by another. So rather than 'right' and 'wrong' they became light and darkness. This made sense to me. They form a triangle with light between the palms (the choice).

The triangle represents creation, therefore represents God.

What energy do we chose to take through life.

What vibe do our choices create?

Here's a timelapse of the painting.

It was painted throughout the summer, whenever I had time

Thank you for listening to the thoughts of a crazy person.

This painting is just for fun. Although I think it could make a great tea-towel, WDYT?
