PeteBox & self proclaimed super fan Zuza are the catalyst for creating this Bracelet.

A while back, Zuza made Pete a bracelet with his logo from wood and nylon. He loved it so much he commissioned the same bracelet in silver HERE. Skip forward a few months, Zuza reached out to me to have her a silver version made too.

This time the impossible cube would be smaller and with black resin.

We wanted it to be the same logo but not a repeat of Pete's commission.

Zuza also requested to have two fastening options, a loose and tight fit.

Above we have the original design by Zuza, then Pete's commission, and lastly Zuza's mini silver version.

No problem I said. This is how I went about making it:

After the design details were confirmed by Zuza, the first thing to do was to cut a cube shape out of sheet silver. This got lazer engraved in Hatton Garden.

When I collected it, I stopped off nearby to hold it up to different styles of chain for Zuza to chose from. I picked up the findings I needed also.

Back at the workshop, with the chain clasp and jump rings, I assembled the bracelet.

This involves careful measuring for an even looking design, that fits perfectly.

Once all soldering was done, I could add the black resin. This set for 24hrs, then got filed back. The entire bracelet could then be polished and finished.

Last step was to get it hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

After I sent the jewellery to Zuza, I received an overjoyed message from her!

Many Thanks for this commission Zuza! Super fun to make.
